ERC ADVANCED CALL 2025

FOSTERING CLASS

ERC-2025-AdG

“The European Research Council (ERC) looks for the very best ideas and invests in curiosity-driven frontier research.

The philosophy of the ERC is based on the idea that researchers know best which research problems and areas are most promising to explore.

Funding the top researchers to work on their best ideas often yields unexpected results. These can provide answers to questions that we did not even know to ask, and create opportunities that were not anticipated.”

Maria Leptin, President of the ERC Scientific Council
